Adoptable Pet of the Month
In January 2019 Canada Life Place partnered with the Humane Society of London and Middlesex to launch an Adoptable Pet of the Month program. The program features one adoptable pet each month on our social media channels with information on how to adopt the featured pet.
The program was built to work with our local humane society in helping with the awareness of adoptable pets while also gathering great content for the venue's social media channels and allowing for a stress break at work for staff members. The pet of the month will usually visit the office to get their photo taken in/around the venue, then its playtime for the staff! The program has been a huge success thus far with all of our featured pets finding a FURever home.
Ice Ice Baby
Something you may not ever think about while watching a London Knights game is the actual ice they are playing on. Have you ever wondered about the process of installing the ice at Canada Life Place? As we prepare for another hockey season we sat down with the Chief Operator and Special Projects Manager at Canada Life Place, Dillon Learn, to give you an inside look at everything it takes to get the ice game ready!

The theory that London is a conservative town was put to the test last night. If you were at Canada Life Place or in the downtown core, you would have seen some unusual looking characters with white eyes, macabre makeup and fun and dramatic clothing. I was excited to be among them.
#BGReviewer: Michael Bublé
Michael Bublé emerges from the back of a neon-lit tiered stage and trips down the stairs past some thirty instrumentalists, evoking a young Dean Martin. He delivers a nostalgic ‘My Funny Valentine,’ flashes a killer smile, and begins to clap. Within eight beats, we are all clapping with him. He slides into ‘Just Haven’t Met You Yet,’ and the evening is underway.
#BGReviewer: Def Leppard Hits Canada Tour
Guitar, drums…yeah! To say that the atmosphere downtown was in a state of “Euphoria” last night would be an understatement. On Monday, July 22nd, Canada Life Place played host to two hard-rock icons; Tesla and Def Leppard.
Once the ‘Def Leppard Hits Canada’ summer tour was announced, the buzz was electric.
Summer at Canada Life Place
With the London Knights and London Lightning done for the season do you ever wonder what’s going on at Canada Life Place during the summer? Surely everyone who works there must take the entire summer off, right?! Think again. Preparing for the season takes a lot of preparation and hard work and the summer is the time when all the planning happens for the upcoming months. This is the time when we confirm most of our shows for the fall, winter and spring and all departments are involved with getting a show on sale.
#BGReviewer: Dwight Yoakam
I had the pleasure, of seeing the timeless classic that is Dwight Yoakam last night. He did not disappoint, with hits such as, Little Sister, A Thousand Miles From Nowhere, Streets of Bakersfield and so many more!
