Event Information
For the third consecutive season, and fifth time in tour history, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Cup Series will buck into London, Ontario, holding the PBR London Classic at Canada Life Place on June 6-7, 2025.
Following the overwhelming enthusiasm and demand for PBR Canada Cup Series events in London, including last season’s single day sold out show, the organization expanded the competition to two days in June 2025. The PBR London Classic will have added significance as one of just two PBR Canada Cup Series events in Ontario during the 2025 individual season.
PBR Canada’s Cup Series, which set tour attendance records in nine cities in 2024, regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the organization’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation.
For two nights only, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 1,800-pound opponents born to buck.
The PBR London Classic will mark the fourth event of the 2025 regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series.
When the Cup Series last travelled to London in June 2024, two-time PBR Canada Champion Cody Coverchuk (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) went a perfect 2-for-2 to win the record-setting event. The win was the first of two for Coverchuk on the elite Cup Series, allowing him to further his then stronghold on the No. 1 rank in Canada to 345.5 points ahead No. 2 Jake Gardner (Fort St. John, British Columbia).
As the season progressed, Coverchuk appeared to be unstoppable before a torn groin sidelined him for a portion of the summer campaign. While he qualified for the 2024 PBR Canada National Finals ranked No. 1 in Canada, he was surpassed by Nick Tetz (Calgary, Albert) for the title of 2024 PBR Canada Champion.
Other past PBR Canada Cup Series event winners in London are: Daylon Swearingen (2023, 2019 – Piffard, New York); and Reese Cates (2016 – Ocala, Florida).
The bull riding action for 2025 PBR Canada Cup Series’ London Classic, begins at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, January 24 at 10:00 a.m. ET, and start at $30, standard ticketing fees may apply and can be purchased at the Canada Life Place Gate 1 Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.ca.
